Threats to cyber security for both businesses and individuals continue to grow. In the 2021-22 financial year the
Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) recorded a 13% increase in cybercrimes being reported, equating to roughly one every 7 minutes. As a response to the increase in cybercrimes, e2 Cyber was launched early 2023 to support the Australian cyber community. Our role is to workshop creative solutions to support and expand the cyber security talent pool, ensuring Australians have access to the best cyber professionals to safeguard our data.
Born from our parent company Emanate Technology, our story starts long before e2 Cyber existed. Cyber Security recruitment sat within a specialist technology vertical at Emanate Technolgy for over 6 years, until we identified it as its own discipline. Too large and full of nuances, not be the core priority. e2 Cyber was created, where our passionate security certified professionals can focus on being the best national cyber recruitment business for Australia to access the best cyber roles and the best cyber talent.
With a national approach, our grass roots are embedded in Canberra which has naturally been the hub of cyber security focused decisions and ways forward. Key organisations such as ACSC, ASD, Home Affairs and AFP remain heavily involved in creating resolutions to security breaches of non-government businesses and organisation, working together to try and secure Australia’s data. Our e2 Cyber teams are spread across the country and our national cyber community focus sees us partnering with government and commercial organisations, supporting technical and non-technical specialists in their cyber careers.
