Joel is passionate about technology recruitment and its nuances. He has built a reputation for delivering exceptional quality and a smooth experience in the tech industry. His depth of knowledge, along with his proactive and consultative approach, adds great value to clients and candidates alike, whether it be advice on how to attract and retain top tier technology talent, or discussions around the market and career opportunities.

Knowing the value of true tech specialism to both candidates looking for a role and clients needing to secure top talent, Joel launched Emanate Technology in 2016 focused on 6 core tech verticals including cyber security. As the cyber sector grew year on year, Joel recognised the need to separate it out into its own brand, being too large and full of nuances, to not be the sole business priority. This marked the creation of e2 Cyber. Together with Jacob, their vision of being the best national cyber recruitment business for Australia to access the best cyber roles and the best cyber talent is realised every day.

Personally, Joel is always up for a chat about anything sport-related. His friends and family regard his loyal support of the Golden State Warriors and the South Sydney Rabbitohs as bordering on some sort of weird obsession, which suits him fine. When not mountain biking on weekends, he’s very lucky to be enjoying time with his beautiful wife and two amazing children.
